First time going, since they opened up. I had been to Scuttlebutts a few times and was never impressed. I'm very glad that this new restaurant redeemed that location. The food was very good, the atmosphere was more open and light. The music was a very wide variety. Our waitress was great. We started with the fondue fries and half a dozen oysters. The fondue fries were amazing! They had the right amount of cheese, shrimp, crawfish and mushrooms. Monday is $1 oysters, which is a great deal. I had the surf and turf hoagie, and it was amazing. Definitely messy, but so worth it. The flavors were great and garlicy. My husband had the seafood po boy, which was also good. There were options other than just fried, which I don't usually hear of. He got the blackened shrimp and it was good. Overall, a great first experience there. The food also came out very fast. No complaints!
Crab cakes were great! Loved the shrimp & fish platter. The service was great. The atmosphere is noisy, but it was crowded, so it was somewhat expected. We were in town for a week and went twice.
I was searching for cooked oysters and that’s what I got!!! There was no wait when I came in, was seated quietly. I ordered appetizer and it was really good and came out quickly. The restaurant itself is a vibe, clean, great music, tvs and all that jazz. Great menu! I will definitely be back at my next visit. Owner came over and chatted Oysters were cooked and prepared well toppings were yumm. Thanks
Great place for fresh seafood! The salmon with rice was cooked perfectly and super tasty. Shrimp was fresh and tasty too. They took really long with our food (around 45 min) never knew why it was so long if it wasn’t too crowded but other than that everything was great.
The waiting staff was attentive and made a great recommendation on a popular item on the menu. I highly suggest the tuna nachos and Rockefeller spinach dip. They have daily specials for crab legs on Wednesday and Crawfish on Thursday. Happy hour is from 3PM- 7-PM Monday thru Friday.
We tried so many delicious dishes like the Fondue Fries, the Tuna Poke Nachos, and the Black Drum Jubilee. Don’t forget to try dessert like the churro cake!! Tanner was an excellent server. Be sure to ask for him if you want great service. He is very knowledgeable and recommended all these dishes for us!
The food was hot & fresh. The server got our drinks & order within a few minutes of us being seated. Our food was out right away. The band sounded great & we really enjoyed ourselves. The manger was walking around checking on customers & seeing how they are doing. He was very friendly just like his emplyees. We will definitely be back. The best part was the seafood was fresh & delicious .
